  • Currently, we are using the ALEPlot package to create the data for accumulated local effects.
  • The original function renders a base plot first, that is impossible to adjust afterwards and difficult to hide. Turning the plotting devices off causes all kinds of problems, when new plots are being generated within Shiny.
  • We do not know exactly what is happening, when the data is being generated
  • We get hard to decipher error messages
