The bitcoin transactions needed for name registrations are now generated in the browser. (Without a call to the local Blockstack core node) The pre-order and registration transactions are submitted to and queued on a transaction broadcasting service which will broadcast them to the network in the correct sequence. There's no longer a need to keep the browser online for several hours to register names.
