Edit Mod Pack
After a Mod Pack has been created, or downloaded, you may wish to make further adjustments to the contents of it. This could be fixing a file path or adding new files and options to it in an update. Or any other edits to the contents of a Mod Pack. This is all able to be done through the built-in editing system with only minor setup required.
The first thing you'll want to do is setup a nice workspace directory for these changes. The most direct way of doing that is put your Mod Pack to edit in a new folder or empty location. Extract the contents of the ZIP Archive to a new directory based on the file name.
In WinRAR for example that would be Extract To "<name>"
when right clicking the ZIP file in Explorer.
Next, all you have to do is actually open the extracted Mod Pack in Relink Mod Manager
- Click File in the top left.
- Select Edit Mod Pack.
- Navigate into the folder created for the extraction.
- Select the
ModConfig.json
file.
The Mod Pack will now be opened for editing!
To make changes, it works identical to the steps you performed while creating a Mod Pack. It's the same familiar UI and features.
Once you're done, just like before, click Save Mod Pack and give it a name/overwrite the original ZIP Archive you extracted.
