Install and Uninstall Mods
To install your enabled Mods, it's as simple as clicking the Install Mods button at the top of the program.
After clicking the button, wait for the confirmation dialog to let you know you're good to go.
Any Mods that you Enabled in the Imported Mods list will have been installed to your game. Any that were Disabled will not have been installed.
Important
To launch the game with Mods active, you simply need to launch through Steam like normal. There is no option or need to launch the game through Relink Mod Manager. Mods that were installed will always be active until you uninstall them.
Similar to installing Mods, uninstalling is just as simple!
Click the Uninstall All Mods button at the top of the program and wait for the confirmation dialog to know when it's complete.
As the button suggests, this will uninstall all Mods that were installed, it does not care about which Mods in your Imported Mods list are enabled or disabled.
Important
Uninstalling Mods prior to a game update is always a good idea. However, it is not required. If you decide to not uninstall Mods prior to updating your game, or you just forgot to, don't worry! Open up the Relink Mod Manager after the game update is complete and click Install Mods once again.
You'll be given an error message stating you have Mods registered as installed but they don't appear to be. Click the I Restored My Files button as instructed by the dialog. Afterwards, attempt to install your Mods once again and it'll work!
If you had a data_volatile_backups directory, you may want to delete the contents of it if they are not automatically cleaned out. Leaving it will have no negative impact on your game or mods, but it may be taking up unwanted space - only delete this folder while Mods are not installed to avoid creating other issues.
As always, if you run into issues that are not able to be resolved, performing a Verify Integrity of Game Files through Steam can help fix any remaining issues.
Before you go through with installing any Mods, you may wish to see what exactly your current configurations will do to your game install. The Effective Changes button solves that.
After you have enabled one or more Mods, go to the top of the program and click on Effective Changes. A new window will appear that shows you exactly what Game File Path is being changed and by what Mod File Path, along with the Mod that the change is coming from. You can also click on a path to copy it to your clipboard for easy reference.
