Templates

DataShot assumes that images follow standard templates - that a camera takes images of specimens and labels from a fixed position of a fixed carrier. The location of the catalog number barcode identifies which template applies to a new image, and is used by the application to segment the image.

Use the template editor (Configuration/Edit Templates on the main menu) to add and edit templates.
