Factory Navigation
Factory Navigation is part of the Xyna Process Modeller and provides access to all XMOM Objects inside a certain XMOM (later on identified with a certain Runtime Context). It is possible to list the XMOM Objects inside the current Workspace or switch the view to any other Runtime Context. The XMOM Objects are organized in Departments, Sections and Function Groups, which can be browsed via a hierarchical directory.
The top of the Factory Navigation shows an image of the Xyna Factory with its 13 Departments. Clicking a Department will navigate to the Department inside the directory beneath. The corresponding Runtime Context can be selected with the drop-down menu under the Xyna Factory image. After login the current Workspace is preselected.
Select one directory entry to show the XMOM Objects inside this entry. The XMOM Objects are shown in a list beneath the directory. The list shows XMOM Objects directly inside the selected entry.
The XMOM Objects can be used as Modeling Blocks via drag and drop.
There are more interaction possibilities via context menu (cf. fig. 3):
- Open in new Tab: Opens the selected XMOM Object inside the modeling area inside the Process Modeller.
- Show Details: Opens the selected XMOM Object and switch to Detail View.
- Test: Opens the selected XMOM Object and switch to Workflow Tester (only Workflows).
- Move/Rename: Refactors the name of the selected XMOM Object.
- Delete from XMOM: Deletes the selected XMOM Object from the current Workspace.
Context menu
If the active Workspace requires other Runtime Contexts and there exist XMOM Objects in the list that originate from those required Runtime Contexts, they are showing a lock icon on them and are write-protected in the scope of the active Workspace. If the selected Runtime Context (by drop-down menu) is not the active Workspace, all XMOM Object inside the list are showing this icon and are write-protected.
When looking at a certain Runtime Context and its hierarchy of required Runtime Contexts, a conflict is a situation in which an XMOM Objects originates from more than one of those Runtime Contexts. These conflicting objects are marked red inside the list of XMOM Objects.
Please note: It is possible, that a Runtime Context A requires Runtime Contexts B and C, which both require a Runtime Context D. Even though B and C requires the same XMOM Objects, there is no conflict at the view of A, because those objects have the same origin D.
