Order Input Source Management in the Factory Manager
Order Input Sources are managed inside the Order Input Sources section of the Xyna Factory Manager.
The overview shows all Order Input Sources. It supports filtering by name, Application, Version, Workspace, source type, Order Type, worksteps using sources, state.
Create a new Order Input Source by clicking the Add Order Input Source button at the top right. Alternatively, an existing Order Input Source can be duplicated by clicking the Duplicate button at the end of an Order Input Source table entry. In this case, the fields in the arising dialog are pre-filled and can be changed if necessary.
Define the configuration parameter for the new Order Input Source:
- Name
- Name for the Order Input Source. It must be unique for each Workspace or Application.
- Order Type
- Target Order Type.
- Source Type

Constant: Always take the same values as an input of the target Order Type.
- 'Input Parameters: Manually specified input values.
- Custom Fields: Define up to four custom fields. The custom fields can be reviewed in Order Overview section in the Xyna Process Monitor.
- Priority: Integer between 1 and 10. 10 is the highest priority.
- Monitoring Level: Level of information stored for each Order of this Order Type.

Workflow: Use the output of an Order Type as the input of the chosen target Order Type.
- Generating Order Type: Order Type to generate the input. Modeled outputs of the Workflow used by the generating Order Type must match the inputs of the Workflow used by the target Order Type.

Open the Order Input Source Details by selecting an Order Input Source. Apart from the name, all parameters can be changed. Click the Save button to apply the changes.
Open the Order Input Source Details by selecting an Order Input Source. Generate input by clicking the Generate Input button. Afterwards a Xyna Order can be started with the generated input via the Start Order button.
Frequency-Controlled Tasks can be started in the Frequency-Controlled Task area in the Order Input Source Details. There are the following configuration parameters:
- Name
- Number of Orders
- Type (Load or Rate)
- Create inputs once
- Data point count
- Data point distance
- Delayed start
Remove an Order Input Source by clicking the Delete button at the end of the Order Input Source table entry. Confirm the deletion with Yes.
